Dancing with Miss Maddy offers safe and inclusive dance lessons to kids ages 3-18. Safety is our first priority, and dancers of all identities are welcome in our classes.

As a dancer of 18 years and dance educator of 5 years, I still get energized and excited when I share my knowledge and passion for dance with others!

I started my company in February of 2021 and have loved every minute of it. One of the best parts of my job is working with dancers from all over Central Iowa. While I don’t have a traditional studio space, I travel to studios across the state as a choreographer and guest artist. This summer I am offering dance camps in Ames, Iowa

My highest priority as a dance educator is dancer safety. After having two hip surgeries before 20, I recognized a flaw in dance culture. It is not uncommon to have dancers practice and perform in unsafe conditions. I create a safe and inclusive environment with my students by furthering my knowledge and education so they get the highest quality training possible. I have a certification in Progressing Ballet Technique, I am majoring in Dance Coaching at Iowa State University, and will graduate in Spring 2024.
